Terms of Service.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Flick mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Service.

Flick is operated under Pebbl ("Flick", "Pebbl", "we", "our", or "us").

1. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

• "Platform" refers to the Flick mobile application and any related services, websites, APIs, or software provided by Flick.
• "User" refers to any individual who accesses or uses the platform.
• "Responses" refers to answers submitted by users to prompts, questions, surveys, or other engagement formats provided through the platform.
• "Insights" refers to aggregated analytics, trends, datasets, or research outputs derived from user responses.
• "Aggregated Data" refers to anonymized and combined datasets derived from user responses that cannot reasonably identify individual users.

2. Eligibility

To use the platform:

• You must be at least 16 years old.
• If you are under 18 years old, you confirm that you have received permission from a parent or legal guardian.
• You must provide accurate and truthful information when creating an account.

Flick reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information.

3. Description of the Service

Flick provides a digital platform where users may voluntarily respond to short prompts, questions, and other engagement formats.

Responses contribute to the creation of aggregated insights regarding:

• consumer behaviour
• cultural trends
• lifestyle habits
• digital behaviour
• market insights

These insights may be used internally by Flick and Pebbl or distributed as research outputs.

The platform may include gamified elements such as progress indicators, points, rewards, or engagement incentives.

4. Account Registration

To access certain features of the platform, you may be required to create an account.

You agree to:

• maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
• notify us immediately of any unauthorised use
• be responsible for all activity occurring under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts suspected of misuse.

5. Acceptable Use and Community Standards

Flick has zero tolerance for objectionable content, harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content involving minors, or abusive behaviour. Users who violate these standards may be removed immediately and permanently.

User-generated content on the platform includes profile information (display names, bios), mirror statements, and social interactions with other users.

Flick uses automated filters and human review to detect and remove objectionable content. Users can report content or block abusive users in the app. When you block someone, their content is removed from your feed immediately and our moderation team is notified.

We review reports of objectionable content within 24 hours. Confirmed violations result in content removal and account suspension or permanent ejection of the offending user.

You agree not to misuse the platform.

Prohibited activities include:

• using bots or automated systems to submit responses
• creating multiple accounts to manipulate rewards or insights
• scraping data from the platform
• interfering with platform security
• attempting to reverse engineer the platform
• submitting unlawful, harmful, or misleading content

Flick reserves the right to investigate suspected violations.

6. Fraud Prevention and Data Integrity

Maintaining the integrity of research data is critical to the platform.

Flick may use automated systems and manual review processes to detect:

• suspicious answering patterns
• multiple accounts
• bot activity
• reward manipulation

If such activity is detected, Flick may:

• invalidate responses
• remove rewards
• suspend accounts
• permanently ban users

Decisions regarding fraudulent activity are made at the sole discretion of Flick.

7. Rewards and Incentives

The platform may offer rewards, points, or other incentives to encourage participation.

These incentives:

• are promotional in nature
• may change or be discontinued at any time
• may have eligibility rules

Flick does not guarantee the availability or value of rewards.

Flick may revoke rewards if fraudulent activity is detected.

8. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property associated with the platform remains the exclusive property of Flick or its licensors.

This includes but is not limited to:

• platform software
• algorithms
• research frameworks
• data models
• analytics tools
• branding
• design elements

Users may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or exploit any part of the platform without written permission.

9. Data License and Commercialization of Insights

By submitting responses through the platform, users grant Flick and Pebbl a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to:

• analyse responses
• aggregate responses
• transform responses into insights
• build datasets
• develop analytics models
• commercialise aggregated insights

Insights generated from responses may be:

• licensed
• sold
• distributed
• published

to businesses, agencies, institutions, or research partners.

No individual user will be identifiable in these outputs.

10. Aggregation and Anonymization

All responses used for research outputs are processed into aggregated and anonymised datasets.

This ensures that:

• individuals cannot reasonably be identified
• insights represent group-level trends

Flick takes reasonable steps to ensure user anonymity in research outputs.

11. Platform Availability

Flick strives to maintain a reliable platform but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

The platform may experience interruptions due to:

• maintenance
• technical issues
• system upgrades
• external network disruptions

Flick is not liable for temporary service interruptions.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available".

Flick makes no warranties regarding:

• accuracy of insights
• reliability of the platform
• uninterrupted service
• suitability for a specific purpose

Users access the platform at their own risk.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flick shall not be liable for:

• indirect damages
• consequential damages
• loss of profits
• loss of data
• business interruption

arising from the use of the platform.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Flick, Pebbl, and their affiliates from any claims arising from:

• your misuse of the platform
• violation of these Terms
• unlawful activities conducted through your account

15. Account Suspension and Termination

Flick may suspend or terminate accounts that:

• violate these Terms
• attempt to manipulate research results
• engage in fraudulent activity
• threaten the security of the platform

Users may also request account deletion via our deletion request page.

16. Future Platform Development

Flick may introduce new features including:

• research tools
• analytics dashboards
• partnerships
• data products
• API integrations

These Terms apply to future features unless otherwise specified.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lebanon.

Any disputes arising from the use of the platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Lebanese courts.

18. Changes to These Terms

Flick may update these Terms periodically.

Users will be notified of material changes through the platform or website.

Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
